In the beginning...
It seems only fitting to begin with the photos that began my fascination with rambling through neglected cemeteries. From 1979, my first tombstone photos from the Greer Cemetery in Wingo, Kentucky - the grave of twenty year old Elizabeth Howard.

I will never forget the day our Mothers found this stone. It was face down in the dirt and they told my sons and their cousins to go to get something to dig with from the car. They came running to the car yelling hurry get something to dig with they have found our Grandfather!!Lol Sweet Memories!!
